MLK Commemoration Film Screening of “From Selma to Stonewall”

“From Selma to Stonewall,” an exploration of the similarities, differences, and conflicts between the black civil rights and gays rights movements, will be shown on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m., in the Alley of Lowry Center (1189 Beall Ave.) at The College of Wooster. This 60-minute documentary follows a “black, straight preacher and a white, lesbian activist” as they seek to find the intersection between the civil rights and the LGBTQ equality movements. May not be suitable for very young viewers. Admission is free and open to the public.
